Sticky Tandoori Tofu Served with Garlic Green Beans and Glass Noodles by @unitedtofu

450g Tofu
200g Green beans
200g Glass noodles
1 Spring onion
1 Red paprika
3 Cloves of garlic
Olive oil
Soy sauce
Black pepper
Red paprika powder
Corn starch
Tahini paste
Brown sugar
Tandoori masala barbecue spice blend
Fresh lemon juice



For the Sauce

1 tbsp Tahini paste
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 star anise
1 tbsp of brown sugar
1 clove of garlic
1 tbsp Tandoori masala barbecue spice blend
Fresh lemon juice

Mix the ingredients on medium heat until the spices blend well into paste then add coconut milk and lightly drizzle with fresh lemon juice. Cook for another few minutes until the sauce is nice and smooth.


1. Press the tofu before frying to get rid of excessive water and to let tofu soak marinade instead. Cut tofu into cubes.

2. Tofu marinade:
*  2-3 tbsp Olive oil
*  2 tbsp Soy sauce
*  1 tsp Black pepper/red paprika powder
*  Some corn starch (optional) it will help the tofu to be crunchy after frying

3. Fry the tofu cubes in a non-stick pan. Heat some oil over medium-high heat and add the tofu cubes. Keep flipping the tofu cubes around until they get brown and crispy.

4. Rest fried tofu cubes on a kitchen paper towel to get rid of extra oil for 3-5 minutes.

5. Pour the sauce on tofu and mix together.

6. Add some black sesame and shredded coriander on the top.

Serve with stir-fried rice glass noodles with spring onion and garlic green beans.
